Ross Yulidjirri is the son of  Paul Yulidjirri and Mary Yulidjirri. As a nephew of Thompson Yulidjirra, another well known West Arnhem Land artist, and the inheritor of important Kunwinjku cultural knowledge, Ross has become a significant man of stature. His traditional lands include Nimbuwah Rock near Gunbalanya (Oenpelli).
