Mick Kubarrkku has an extensive biography written on ‘Trove’, the research arm of the National Library of Australia, which can be found through Wikipedia:
Kubarrkku and his wife Lulu Laradjbi were a well established artistic couple seeped in their lands’ traditional law and culture embedded in central north Arnhem Land. Frequently met when bringing in their latest creations from outlying regions, be they made of bark, wood, woven threads or painted on paper, their presence at Maningrida Arts & Culture was always keenly anticipated.
